Our mission at Cornerstone is simple: For Jesus. For People. For Connecticut. For the World. We believe everything that we do as a church and individually hinges on the first part of the mission.

If we’re for Jesus then we will be do what He commanded us to do: Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you (Matthew 28:19-20).

At Cornerstone, we want to encourage every Christian to go, to take the vital step of realizing that this world is a mission field. God has given us the incredible responsibility and joy to share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with the people in our lives.

The best way to share Jesus’ message with others is to observe how He did it: He never made a sales pitch and He never argued anyone into faith. Rather, He cared for them. Spoke the truth. And invited them into an amazing, life-changing relationship with God.

At school, work, the coffee shop, the gym, maybe even at home there are people that need Jesus.

Take the step. Go. Tell them about Jesus. Invite them to church. Pray for them.

Be bold. Be gracious. Be real.
